Bharat Oman Refineries
Bharat Oman Refineries Limited (BORL) is a company that operates the Bina Refinery, a crude oil refinery located in Bina, Sagar District, Madhya Pradesh, India. Incorporated in 1993 as a joint venture between Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Oman Oil Company S.A.O.C. (OOC), BORL became a wholly-owned subsidiary of BPCL in March 2021 when BPCL acquired OQ's (formerly Oman Oil Company) stake. The Bina Refinery has a processing capacity of 7.8 Million Metric Tonnes Per Annum (MMTPA) and plays a significant role in meeting India's energy demand, particularly in the central and northern regions. BORL focuses on the refining of crude oil into various petroleum products.
