Jet Airways (currently grounded)
Jet Airways was a major Indian international airline based in Mumbai. Founded in 1993, it grew to become one of India's largest private full-service carriers, operating an extensive network of domestic and international flights connecting India to destinations across Asia, Europe, North America, and the Middle East. Known for its quality service and in-flight experience, the airline suspended operations in April 2019 due to severe financial distress. Though it has undergone an insolvency resolution process and a new consortium acquired it, the airline remains grounded as of early 2024, with attempts to revive operations ongoing but not yet successful.
