About Us
- NISER was established in 2007 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, as part of the Government of India's initiative to create world-class institutions for science education and research, similar to the IITs and IISc. - It functions as a deemed university under the Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), Mumbai. - The institute aims to nurture scientific talent by offering comprehensive five-year integrated M.Sc. - programs, M.Sc., and Ph.D. - programs in various basic science disciplines, and by engaging in advanced scientific research.
