ATREE
The Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE) is a non-profit environmental research organization based in India. Established in 1996, ATREE conducts interdisciplinary research in biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. It combines fundamental research with applied policy and action, working across various ecosystems and social contexts. ATREE aims to generate knowledge, build capacity, and engage with policymakers and local communities to address environmental challenges and promote ecological sustainability.
