Mizoram University

Mizoram University is a Central University established under an Act of Parliament (Act. No. 8 of 2000) on 25th April 2000, functioning under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Located in Aizawl, Mizoram, it is a premier institution of higher education and research in the northeastern part of India. The university aims to develop and disseminate knowledge, provide higher education, and address the specific needs of the region, including the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of Mizoram.
