The Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) is a multidisciplinary research institution in India, established in 1989 by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. It is an autonomous body and a deemed-to-be university dedicated to pursuing and promoting advanced scientific research and education at the postgraduate and doctoral levels in various frontier areas of science and engineering. JNCASR aims to foster original research, generate new knowledge, and train highly skilled scientific manpower for the nation and the world.
