Cameron Manufacturing and Design was founded in 1983 by Frank LaViola Sr. when he realized there was a need for a fabricating business in upstate New York. Through organic growth, CMD is now a service provider to thousands of clients across the globe. Frank's vision of a regional “fab shop” has evolved into a company that employs over 200 skilled employees and operates in a 125,000 square foot manufacturing complex. Frank turned CMD into an Employee owned company in 2007 when he retired. Entrusting the future of the company to the company's greatest resource, our skilled workforce. Currently, celebrating the 10th anniversary of becoming an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). CMD is reaching new heights daily as a company. Since CMD's inception, the backbone of the company has been quality workmanship, on time delivery and a desire for unmatchable customer service. Through these core beliefs and maintaining a positive outlook on the business, CMD has learned to adapt to the ebbs and flows of the fickle industry all while withstanding the test of time. Below is an aerial photo of our state-of-the-art manufacturing complex. Our facility features a total of 128,000 square feet of manufacturing space with 20,000 square feet dedicated to indoor storage for raw materials, inventory and work in progress. We also have a "top secret" building dedicated for the proprietary products and fabrications that require special treatment. With our customers and their projects in mind, we strive to keep our facilities clean, safe and efficient to ensure that we fabricate and deliver the highest quality product to our customers.
