Job Title:Tech lead - C++
BU: CARIAD Business Unit India
Location: Whitefield, Bangalore
Experience: 4 to 6 years
EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Desired Technical Skills:
- Min 3+ years of experience in C++ (11,14,17,20)
- Good Hands-on experience with Multithreading, Design patterns, OOPS Concept.
- TCP/IP configuration (ifconfig, route, bridge, tap, VLAN, etc.).
- Good to have Communication Protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, ETH and SOME/IP)
- Hand on experience in POSIX filesystem
- Good Knowledge in the Automotive/Adaptive AUTOSAR/QNX/Automotive
- Designing, developing, and maintaining software, including command line tools like compilers, utilities, and libraries.
- Experience in developing safety-oriented Embedded C++ applications with knowledge of safe multithreading, memory management, watchdog handling, fault detection, and fail-safe mechanisms.
Good to have skills:
- Experience with any of the communication middleware (DDS, SOME/IP, ARA:COM, MQTT, gRPC, etc.)
- Good leadership, communication and presentation skills
- Capable of working independently on a given task
- Ability to work in and contribute to Agile team environment
- Demonstrates significant knowledge of technical problem resolution of issues
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and delivery excellence
- Good understanding of ISO 26262 functional safety lifecycle, HAZOP , HARA, ASIL classification, safety goals, and safety requirement analysis for automotive software systems.
