Role Summary

Join Vanguards VISCO team and help shape the future of workflow and case management solutions built on the Appian platform. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to define product vision, gather requirements, prioritize features, and deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency and crew experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges, define objectives, and identify opportunities for process automation and workflow optimization.
• Elicit, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements for Appian-based solutions.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Appian developers and architects to define solution designs and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Lead requirements workshops, process mapping sessions, and stakeholder reviews.
• Support testing, user acceptance activities, releases, and post-production adoption.
• Analyze operational metrics and user feedback to continuously improve product capabilities.
• Ensure solutions align with Vanguard's architecture, security, risk, and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, Product Management, Business Analysis, or Process Improvement.
• Experience gathering requirements and documenting business processes, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Strong understanding of workflow, case management, or business process management concepts.
• Experience working in Agile product delivery teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Appian, BPM, workflow, or case management platforms.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Visio, and process modeling tools.
• Exposure to AI, intelligent automation, RPA, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience prioritizing product roadmaps and managing backlogs.
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSPO, or similar business analysis/product management certification.
