Job Description
- Experience 5-8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing finance
ACCOUNTABILITIES ACTIVITIES
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling estimates for the plant
- Analyze monthly performance against budgets and provide variance explanations
- Conduct cost variance analysis (material, labor, overheads) and provide recommendations
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly MIS reports, highlighting key KPIs and financial trends
- Coordinate internal, statutory, and cost audits for the plant
- Ensure accurate valuation and control of inventories; monitor scrap, yield, and wastage
- Evaluate, monitor, and track capital expenditure projects and ROI performance
- Support make-or-buy analysis, pricing decisions, and capital expenditure appraisals
ESSENTIAL/DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDING REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- CA / CMA with 5-8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and product costing
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
- Familiarity with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and cost audit requirements
- Exposure to Power BI, or other reporting/visualization tools
- Knowledge in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
