Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Translate corporate strategy and operational priorities into business capabilities, target operating models, and transformation roadmaps.
- Assess current business processes, systems, organizational structures, and data flows across the mining value chain.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, safety, asset reliability, cost efficiency, and environmental performance.
- Develop current-state and future-state business architecture, including capability maps, value streams, process models, and operating models.
- Partner with operational leaders to improve processes related to mine planning, production, processing, maintenance, logistics, inventory, and workforce management.
- Ensure that technology investments are aligned with business priorities and deliver measurable operational value.
- Support digital transformation initiatives involving automation, artificial intelligence, connected equipment, predictive maintenance, remote operations, and operational analytics.
- Evaluate business requirements and help define the appropriate balance between process improvement, organizational change, and technology implementation.
- Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, investment priorities, and value-realization frameworks.
- Identify dependencies, risks, capability gaps, and organizational impacts across major transformation programs.
- Facilitate workshops with executives, operational teams, engineers, technology specialists, and external partners.
- Establish business architecture standards, principles, governance practices, and reusable frameworks.
- Support change management and adoption by clearly communicating the purpose, benefits, and operational impact of proposed changes.
- Track transformation outcomes and ensure initiatives deliver expected improvements.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Mining, Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Eight or more years of experience in business architecture, enterprise transformation, operational excellence, management consulting, or a related field.
- Experience working in mining, natural resources, heavy industry, manufacturing, energy, or another asset-intensive environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop capability models, value streams, operating models, process architectures, and transformation roadmaps.
- Strong understanding of how business strategy, operations, people, processes, data, and technology work together.
- Experience developing business cases and defining measurable benefits and performance indicators.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with executives, operational leaders, technical teams, and frontline stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to mining and operational locations as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of mining operations, processing plants, mobile equipment, maintenance, or supply-chain operations.
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as ERP, EAM, ServiceNow, SAP, operational technology, fleet-management, or mine-planning systems.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence, industrial automation, IoT, digital twins, predictive analytics, or remote operations.
- Certification or training in business architecture, enterprise architecture, Lean Six Sigma, change management, or project management.
- Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as BIZBOK, TOGAF, ISO 55000, or relevant mining regulations.
