Biogen Capability Center India

In India, Biogen operates as the Biogen Capability Center India (BCCI), Bangalore serving as Global Technology Center for Biogen. Established in 2023 with a vision to centralize critical IT system development, advancing Biogen mission through developing new cutting-edge technologies, serving stakeholders and patients across the world. Headquartered in Bangalore, the organization is growing rapidly, onboarding talents across India, fostering remote-first, highly collaborative work culture with a focus on growth and development of talent. 

The BCCI organization is structured into various IT teams, each focused on specific areas of expertise. Some of our primary teams include:

Data Management and Analytics

In charge of managing and analysing Biogen's data assets to provide valuable insights that inform business decision-making.

Integration

Responsible for integrating Biogen's various software applications and systems, this team ensures smooth communication and data flow across the organization.

Automation Services

This group develops and implements automation solutions that streamline and optimize Biogen's business processes, such as robotic process automation (RPA).

Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE)

This team ensures the quality of Biogen's software applications by conducting various testing activities such as functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing.

Computer System Validation (CSV)

This group ensures that Biogen's software applications comply with CSV regulatory requirements.

Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Services

Accountable for the development and implementation of Oracle ERP modifications aimed at enhancing Biogen's business processes. This includes incorporating third-party and/or cloud/hosted services seamlessly into the Biogen landscape.

ITSM

This team reduce disruptions, accelerated incident resolution, and enhance governance across change, incident, and problem management and resulted in streamlined workflows, improved SLA performance.

ServiceNow(SNow)

They integrate cross-platform applications, ensuring governance, and aligning ServiceNow capabilities seamlessly within the organizational ecosystem.

Workday

Team drives the implementation of new features and ensures continuous enhancement of HR processes on the Workday platform, enabling seamless and efficient HR operations.

Infrastructure & Operations(I&O)

This team provides the organization’s strategic foundation and tactical execution-setting the long-term technology direction, while delivering the day-to-day infrastructure that reliably hosts all our applications and business services.

Global, Commercial & Medicine(GCM)

Responsible for partnering and delivering innovative technology solutions that enable Biogen’s Commercial operations across Patient Services, Compliance Solutions, Transparency Reporting, Consent Management, and Customer Experience.

Pharmaceutical, Operations & Technology(PO&T)

This team deliver across Biogen critical business areas, including Labs, ERP Supply Chain Planning, ERP Planning, TrackWise, Agile PLM, Data Analytics and Manufacturing IT along with strong delivery governance, GxP compliance, and global collaboration.
