Avalon Information Systems Private Limited (AISPL), formerly known as Logiciel Information Systems Pvt. Ltd., was established in 1996 to pursue an active role in the software development market. AISPL was founded by a group of committed software professionals in response to an opportunity to meet the software development needs of its key partner, Community Systems Foundation (CSF), a US-based non-profit organization. The company demonstrated its expertise early on by successfully executing projects for prestigious clients such as UNICEF and USAID, delivering top-notch technical solutions that laid the foundation for its global reputation.
A significant milestone in the company’s growth came in November 2002, when AISPL was rigorously audited by CSF and an evaluation team representing the United Nations. This evaluation resulted in AISPL being certified as an ISO 9001-2000 software development firm, a certification that it has consistently maintained (currently ISO 9001-2008). Following this, AISPL was entrusted to support and develop DevInfo technology (formerly Child Info) for the United Nations, enabling its implementation in 148 countries. This marked AISPL's emergence on the global stage, expanding its skill sets and market reach.
