Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and legal compliance.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, HIRA/JSA/JHA, and Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS) observations.
- Investigate incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and ensure timely CAPA closure.
- Manage Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), contractor safety, and machine safety.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including Factories Act, OSHWC Code, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, fire, electrical, and hazardous waste regulations.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, emergency mock drills, and ERT training.
- Monitor fire protection systems, PPE compliance, housekeeping (5S), ergonomics, and environmental management.
- Maintain EHS documentation, MIS reports, training records, legal registers, and audit reports.
Qualifications Experience
- B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Production) , Diploma with ADIS, or B.Sc. with Diploma in Industrial Safety.
- 36 years of experience in automobile or automotive component manufacturing.

- Risk Assessment (HIRA/JSA/JHA), Incident Investigation, RCA (5 Why/Fishbone), Safety Audits, PTW LOTO.
- Contractor Safety, Work at Height, Confined Space, Hot Work, Ergonomics, Waste Management, and Emergency Response.
- Knowledge of press shop, welding, paint shop, assembly, robotics, conveyors, CNC, forklifts, AGVs, cranes, and utilities.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI, SAP, and EHS management systems is preferred.
Preferred Certifications
- ADIS, NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, First Aid, Fire Fighting, ISO 45001 ISO 14001 Internal Auditor certifications.

- Zero fatalities, LTIFR reduction, audit and legal compliance, CAPA closure, PPE compliance, contractor safety, near-miss reporting, emergency drill effectiveness, and 5S performance.
