ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR - Chemistry

The Department of Science and Humanities is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our team as an Associate Professor in the field of Chemistry. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in Chemistry, conducting research, and contributing to the departments academic programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities :

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Chemistry
• Develop and maintain a robust research program in the field of Chemistry
• Mentor and advise students, and supervise graduate research projects
• Participate in departmental and college-wide committees, and contribute to academic initiatives
• Engage in professional development activities and stay current with developments in the field
• Publish research results in reputable journals and present at conferences

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field
• Strong teaching and research experience in Chemistry
• Evidence of high-quality publications in reputable journals
• Ability to mentor and advise students, and supervise graduate research projects
• Strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
