Position - Assistant Manager Purchase
Location - Head Office, Vadodara
Qualification - Any Graduate. PG / Diploma in Material Management would be preferred.
Experience: 8 to 12 years
Position Background
Our client is hiring Assistant Manager - Purchase to strengthen the procurement team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement of chemical raw materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic sourcing of domestic and international chemical raw materials
- Supplier evaluation, negotiations, and performance management
- Market analysis, should-cost benchmarking, and cost optimization
- Contract management and procurement planning
- Import coordination, inventory planning, and supply assurance
- Cross-functional collaboration with Production, Planning, QA, R&D, and Finance teams
Candidates should have strong procurement expertise, commercial negotiation skills, and experience working in the chemical manufacturing industry.
