Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed patient consultations and clinical assessments under the guidance of the senior Ayurvedic physician.
  • Take proper patient history and perform relevant Ayurvedic and clinical examinations.
  • Assist in diagnosis and preparation of individualised Ayurvedic treatment plans.
  • Explain the disease condition, treatment protocol, diet, lifestyle modifications, and follow-up instructions to patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records and follow-up documentation.
  • Coordinate with Panchakarma therapists and supervise treatment procedures as required.
  • Ensure proper implementation of prescribed Panchakarma and other Ayurvedic therapies.
  • Handle patient queries and provide professional counselling regarding treatment and lifestyle.
  • Assist in managing OPD activities and ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Maintain high standards of patient care, hygiene, professionalism, and clinical ethics.
  • Coordinate with the pharmacy and other clinic staff regarding prescribed medicines and treatment requirements.
  • Participate in patient education, awareness activities, and other clinical initiatives of the centre.
  • Stay updated with Ayurvedic clinical practices and contribute positively to the growth and quality standards of the clinic.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinic team to create a professional, patient-friendly, and positive work environment.


Preferred candidate profile


  • Qualification: BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized institution.
  • Valid registration with the respective State Ayurvedic/Medical Council.
  • Experience: 03 years; freshers with good clinical knowledge and willingness to learn are welcome.
  • Good understanding of Ayurvedic principles, diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient management.
  • Knowledge or practical exposure to Panchakarma therapies will be preferred.
  • Good communication and patient counselling skills.
  • Ability to build a comfortable and professional rapport with patients.
  • Basic knowledge of clinical documentation and computer usage.
  • Responsible, disciplined, empathetic, and professionally presentable.
  • Willingness to learn, work as part of a team, and grow with the organisation.
  • Candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Nagpur will be preferred.
