Role Overview

We are looking for an Assistant Category Manager to drive category growth by managing product assortment, category performance, inventory planning, and cross-functional coordination across online and offline channels. The role focuses on maximizing sales, profitability, and customer experience through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category growth strategies to drive revenue, margin, and market share.
• Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor category KPIs such as Sales, GMV, Revenue, Margin, Conversion Rate, AOV, Traffic, and Inventory Turnover.
• Manage product assortment, new product launches, discontinuations, and category expansion.
• Optimize product listings with accurate content, images, and specifications.
• Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams for inventory planning, demand forecasting, and stock optimization.
• Drive performance across both online and offline retail channels while ensuring alignment with category strategy.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Tier-1 institutes such as IITs/NITs preferred).
• 1+ year of experience in Analytics, Consulting, Product, E-commerce, Category Management, or Marketing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good commercial understanding of e-commerce business dynamics is preferred.
