Area Manager : Warehouse Operations

Key Responsibilities:

• DC Management:
  Oversee operations across multiple DCs, ensuring each center functions efficiently and in alignment with company standards.
• Warehouse Operations:
  Manage and monitor all activities including Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Management, Picking, Packing, Sorting, GRN, and Dispatch processes. Ensure high productivity across First Mile to Last Mile operations.
• Process Compliance:
  Ensure accurate and timely opening and closing of DCs. Drive adherence to all warehouse SOPs and process flows to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
• Technology & Systems:
  Leverage SAP-WMS and other relevant systems for inventory control, tracking, and reporting. Must be system-savvy with hands-on experience in warehouse technology platforms.
• Cross-functional Coordination:
  Facilitate smooth coordination between different functions such as Inventory, Quality, Transport, HR, and Security to ensure unified operational performance.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Ensure adherence to FSSAI, Legal Metrology, Labour Laws, and other statutory regulations. Handle liaison activities with government bodies and regulatory officials when required.
• Team Leadership & Development:
  Build, train, and mentor warehouse teams to enhance productivity and operational excellence. Conduct regular training sessions and performance reviews.

Language Requirement for Chennai : Proficiency in Tamil (mandatory)
