Job Description
Job Title: Application Packaging Engineer
Location: Chennai
Experience: 5-10 Years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, customize, and maintain application packages using MSI, MSIX, App-V
- Perform application repackaging, upgrades, and version control
- Test packaged applications for functionality and compatibility
- Deploy applications using tools like SCCM / MECM / Intune
- Troubleshoot installation and deployment issues
- Work closely with infrastructure and desktop support teams
- Maintain packaging documentation and standards
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Application Packaging (5-10 years)
- Hands-on with MSI, MSIX, App-V, InstallShield, AdminStudio
- Experience with SCCM/MECM deployments
- Good understanding of Windows OS and registry/file systems
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell preferred)
