Job Description
Job Summary: We are looking for a committed Senior Resident in Anesthesiology to assist in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care, emergency anesthesia services, and ICU management under the supervision of senior consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia for elective and emergency surgeries across various specialties.
- Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and post-operative rounds.
- Monitor patients during surgery and ensure optimal intra-operative care.
- Assist in the management of ICU and ventilated patients.
- Participate in on-call duties, code blue responses, and pain management services.
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia records and patient notes.
- Take part in academic sessions, departmental teaching, and clinical audits.
Qualifications:
- MBBS + MD / DNB (Anesthesiology) from a recognized institution.
- Registered with MCI/NMC or the respective State Medical Council.
- Freshers and up to 3 years of post-PG experience can apply.
Skills Competencies:
- Proficiency in general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia techniques
- Ability to handle emergencies and work in critical care environments
- Good communication and team collaboration
- Sound clinical judgment and decision-making ability
- Familiarity with anesthesia machines and ICU monitoring system
