Adobe Analytics Developer (Remote, India)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Adobe Analytics Developer to design, implement, configure, and maintain digital analytics solutions across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch (Tags), Mobile SDK integrations, and retail/eCommerce customer journey tracking.
This role will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable analytics implementations, ensuring accurate data collection, and enabling actionable insights across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Adobe Analytics Development & Configuration
- Design, develop, configure, and support Adobe Analytics implementations for web and mobile applications.
- Configure and manage:
o eVars
o Props
o Events
o Classifications
o Processing Rules
o Marketing Channels
o Calculated Metrics
o Report Suites
o Virtual Report Suites
o Segments and Audiences
- Develop and maintain solution design documents (SDD) and tracking specifications.
- Perform analytics implementation reviews and recommend optimization opportunities.
- Troubleshoot data collection issues and resolve reporting discrepancies.
Adobe Launch / Tags Implementation
- Design and implement tag management solutions using Adobe Launch.
- Create and manage:
o Rules
o Data Elements
o Extensions
o Custom Code Integrations
o Environment Management
o Publishing Workflows
- Collaborate with developers to implement and validate data layer requirements.
- Ensure adherence to Adobe implementation best practices.
Mobile Application Analytics Integration
- Implement and support Adobe Experience Platform Mobile SDK integrations for iOS and Android applications.
- Configure and validate mobile tracking requirements across customer journeys.
- Work closely with mobile engineering teams to support analytics instrumentation.
- Debug and troubleshoot SDK implementation issues across mobile platforms.
- Support app release validation and analytics certification activities.
Retail & eCommerce Analytics
- Partner with business and product teams to understand retail and eCommerce requirements.
- Implement tracking across:
o Product Listing Pages
o Product Detail Pages
o Search
o Shopping Cart
o Checkout
o Order Confirmation
o Loyalty Programs
o Promotions and Campaigns
- Support customer behavior analysis and digital performance measurement.
Data Validation & Testing
- Validate analytics implementations across web and mobile applications.
- Execute functional and regression testing for analytics changes.
- Verify data layer implementation and event tracking accuracy.
- Perform debugging using browser developer tools and analytics validation tools.
- Support UAT and production release verification.
Collaboration & Governance
- Work closely with Product Managers, Digital Teams, Marketing, and Engineering teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and release planning.
- Maintain implementation standards and analytics governance documentation.
- Provide technical guidance on analytics best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 3+ years of hands-on Adobe Analytics development experience.
- Strong expertise in Adobe Analytics configuration and administration.
- Strong experience with Adobe Launch (Adobe Tags).
- Experience working with data layers and digital tracking architectures.
- Experience in retail and eCommerce environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
- Experience with Customer Journey Analytics (CJA).
- Familiarity with mobile app release processes.
- Experience with REST APIs and integration patterns.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
