Acquisition Manager - Redevelopment

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Acquisition Manager to identify and secure redevelopment opportunities across Pune. The ideal candidate should be a Maharashtrian with in-depth knowledge of redevelopment projects, RERA regulations, and technical aspects of real estate development. The Acquisition Manager will serve as the primary point of contact between the developer and housing societies, building trust and managing relationships throughout the acquisition process.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact between the developer and housing societies for redevelopment opportunities.
• Identify, evaluate, and acquire potential redevelopment projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with society members, managing committees, consultants, architects, PMC firms, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations with society office bearers and residents.
• Explain redevelopment proposals, project benefits, timelines, and commercial terms to society members.
• Coordinate with technical, legal, architectural, and liaison teams for project feasibility and due diligence.
• Conduct site inspections and evaluate redevelopment potential.
• Prepare feasibility reports and assist management in project evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with RERA, Development Control Regulations (DCPR), and all applicable redevelopment guidelines.
• Coordinate documentation, Letters of Intent (LOIs), Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), and other acquisition-related paperwork.
• Liaise with government authorities, legal consultants, surveyors, and technical consultants when required.
• Monitor acquisition progress and provide periodic updates to senior management.
• Represent the company professionally at meetings and networking events.

Candidate Requirements

• Maharashtrian candidate preferred.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in redevelopment acquisition or redevelopment projects.
• Strong technical understanding of redevelopment processes.
• Good knowledge of RERA, redevelopment policies, approvals, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
• Strong networking abilities with societies and redevelopment professionals.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Pune.
• Valid driving licence preferred.
