AC Technician

Role & responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair split ACs, ductable units, VRV/VRF systems, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs.
• Monitor temperature, humidity, and air quality parameters as per hospital standards.
• Maintain maintenance logs and service records.
• Coordinate with vendors for AMC and major repairs.
• Ensure uninterrupted functioning of HVAC systems in critical areas such as OT, ICU, NICU, Cath Lab, and patient care areas.
• Follow safety procedures and hospital engineering protocols.
• Optimize energy consumption and recommend improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

• ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of experience as an AC/HVAC Technician.
• Experience in hospitals, healthcare, hotels, or commercial buildings is preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and respond to emergency breakdowns.
