Zonal Collection Manager

Manage zonal HL & LAP collection portfolio including Bucket 0 to Write-off.

Monitor and control PAR (30/60/90+) and NPA levels as per business targets.

Drive resolution strategies for early bucket, hard bucket, and NPA accounts.

Ensure roll-back and normalization of delinquent accounts.

Develop zonal collection strategy aligned with national goals.

Implement bucket-wise recovery strategies (Tele-calling, Field visits, Legal action, SARFAESI, etc.).

Track daily/monthly collection performance and take corrective actions.

Drive digital collections and payment channel adoption.

Lead and mentor Regional Collection Managers and field teams.

Set performance targets and conduct regular performance reviews.

Ensure team productivity and adherence to collection SOPs.

Drive training initiatives for process and compliance awareness.

Oversee legal cases under SARFAESI, arbitration, and repossession.

Coordinate with legal vendors and panel advocates.

Ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Manage write-off recovery and settlement cases.

Empanel and manage collection agencies and legal vendors.

Monitor agency performance and ensure compliance with code of conduct.

Conduct audits and field visits to ensure ethical recovery practices.

Review MIS reports and portfolio analytics.

Present zonal collection performance to senior management.

Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines and internal policies.

Drive audit closure and compliance across the zone.

Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or Management

MBA preferred

8 15 years of experience in collections

Minimum 4 5 years in managing HL/LAP secured portfolio

Experience in zonal/regional collection leadership role preferred

Strong knowledge of SARFAESI and legal recovery process
