Job Description

Key Responsibilities 1. Portfolio & Delinquency Management
  • Manage zonal HL & LAP collection portfolio including Bucket 0 to Write-off.
  • Monitor and control PAR (30/60/90+) and NPA levels as per business targets.
  • Drive resolution strategies for early bucket, hard bucket, and NPA accounts.
  • Ensure roll-back and normalization of delinquent accounts.
2. Collection Strategy & Execution
  • Develop zonal collection strategy aligned with national goals.
  • Implement bucket-wise recovery strategies (Tele-calling, Field visits, Legal action, SARFAESI, etc.).
  • Track daily/monthly collection performance and take corrective actions.
  • Drive digital collections and payment channel adoption.
3. Team Management
  • Lead and mentor Regional Collection Managers and field teams.
  • Set performance targets and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Ensure team productivity and adherence to collection SOPs.
  • Drive training initiatives for process and compliance awareness.
4. Legal & Recovery Coordination
  • Oversee legal cases under SARFAESI, arbitration, and repossession.
  • Coordinate with legal vendors and panel advocates.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Manage write-off recovery and settlement cases.
5. Vendor & Agency Management
  • Empanel and manage collection agencies and legal vendors.
  • Monitor agency performance and ensure compliance with code of conduct.
  • Conduct audits and field visits to ensure ethical recovery practices.
6. Reporting & Compliance
  • Review MIS reports and portfolio analytics.
  • Present zonal collection performance to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines and internal policies.
  • Drive audit closure and compliance across the zone.

Eligibility Criteria Education:
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or Management
  • MBA preferred
Experience:
  • 8 15 years of experience in collections
  • Minimum 4 5 years in managing HL/LAP secured portfolio
  • Experience in zonal/regional collection leadership role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of SARFAESI and legal recovery process
