Job Description
A full-time YouTube script writer and content lead with at least 3+ years of experience in writing scripts for YouTube videos to join Invideo s YouTube channel.
As a part of the YouTube team, you will work closely with the head of content and the founding team to grow one of the leading channels in the world on YouTube tips and advice - Invideo for Content Creators ( 270K subscribers, 1M views per month).
Responsibilities include:
- Researching and finding the best video topics based on a detailed understanding of our ICP and their functional and emotional needs.
- Finding the best thumbnail and headline combinations for each topic based on extensive research and workshopping
- Scripting these videos to optimise for high retention - should be able to script the full video from scratch
- Managing and executing the channels content schedule- has to coordinate with script writers, editors, and actors, and maintain a sharp schedule for publishing videos.
- Analysing the performance of videos, finding core insights that can help us improve performance, and iterating on these ideas.
Skills required:
- A very strong understanding of YouTube s algorithm, best practices and YouTube analytics.
- Strong scriptwriting skills for YouTube videos - previous experience is a mandate. Should have written scripts for at least 100 YouTube videos
- Strong understanding of how channels grow on YouTube and a keen interest in the YouTube ecosystem
- High levels of structured thinking and ability to research ideas - one of the KRAs will be to find the best ideas for the channel and bring them to life.
- Extreme ownership of the project - should be able to drive this project with complete autonomy.
