Workday Advanced Reporting Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Monitoring and Observability Developer with 8 to 13 years of experience to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, experience with API integrations, and a collaborative mindset.

Roles and Responsibility

• Create Python-based solutions to integrate systems, platforms, and tools for monitoring and workflow automation.
• Ingest and process data from external systems into monitoring platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to system performance, availability, and integrations.
• Automate routine processes to enhance operational efficiency and identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet monitoring and observability requirements.
• Configure monitoring for server and application inventory.

Job Requirements

• Proficient in Python programming with experience in scripts, workflows, and system integrations.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and data integration techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform/Ansible/Puppet for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and knowledge of GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows.
• Understanding JavaScript for maintaining and supporting codebases as needed.
• Good understanding of Linux to navigate and manage systems effectively.
• Familiarity with event and incident management concepts.
• Proven ability to automate tasks and optimize workflows.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Total 8+ years of experience, with relevant experience of 3-5 years in development (Python, Nodejs).
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Prior experience in monitoring or observability roles.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and monitoring best practices.
