Wordpress Developer

Role: Software Engineer (WordPress)

Location: Thane (W)

Mumbai/Thane (Hybrid) | Full-Time

Your Role: Work with the Axioned team to design and build custom web applications for our clients.

Must-have:

• Strong experience in WordPress development
• Hands-on experience with:
• Elementor / Elementor Pro (Theme Builder)
• Avada Theme / Fusion Builder / Divi Builder
• Experience in plugin customization (WPForms or similar)
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Understanding of theme customization and custom theme development
• Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Technologies Desired:

• Experience with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)
• Familiarity with WooCommerce
• Knowledge of PHP frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
• Basic knowledge of SEO best practices
• Exposure to AWS or server deployment

Your Experience:

• Act as an individual contributor/Wordpress Developer towards projects
• Act as a Mentor/Buddy/Coach for others/less experienced
• Proactively communicate and problem-solve with everyone on your team (Designers, Developers, Testers, Project Managers) and Clients
• Help define, improve and enforce/review coding standards - both Axioneds and the Clients
• Execute on designs/user experiences that meet the defined design/user story/acceptance criteria/definition of done, with minimal to no behaviour/functional/appearance/speed issues (across the defined in-scope devices and browsers)
• Interact directly with foreign (USA/UK/Australia) partners and clients, in support of your PM/team
• Constantly share your experiences - including mistakes - proactively with the team.
