WLAN Testing Leader

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced WLAN Testing Lead with 13+ years in Wireless Networking and QA to lead end-to-end validation of enterprise Wi-Fi solutions. The candidate should have strong expertise in WLAN technologies, test automation, protocol analysis, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead WLAN test planning, execution, and release validation.
• Validate Wi-Fi features across 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be standards.
• Perform functional, interoperability, performance, security, and regression testing.
• Analyze packet captures using Wireshark and troubleshoot complex WLAN issues.
• Drive test automation using Python and CI/CD tools.
• Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and quality reviews.
• Mentor test engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• WLAN: Wi-Fi 5/6/6E/7, WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, Roaming (802.11r/k/v), Mesh, QoS.
• Networking: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, IPv4/IPv6, RADIUS.
• Tools: Wireshark, Ixia/Spirent, LANforge, AirMagnet, Ekahau.
• Automation: Python, Robot Framework, Jenkins, Git.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 13+ years in WLAN/Wireless Testing with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience with enterprise WLAN products and protocol-level debugging.
