Experience: 1-3 Years
Role Overview:
Responsible for validating WLAN protocols, system-level functionality, and performance of networking products. This role involves manual and automation testing, with strong expertise in 802.11 standards and networking fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform WLAN protocol, system-level, and interoperability testing.
Conduct performance tests including throughput, latency, and stability measurements.
Create and execute test plans, test cases, and validation scripts.
Develop automation scripts using Python (Shell scripting preferred).
Use traffic generators, sniffers, and test automation tools for debugging and analysis.
Report defects with detailed logs and work independently on issue reproduction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
Required Skills :
Strong knowledge of WLAN technologies (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
Hands-on experience in networking and manual testing of WLAN products.
Proficiency in Python scripting; Shell scripting is an advantage.
Experience with tools like iPerf, IxChariot, Wireshark, sniffers, and test management platforms.
Good problem-solving ability, creativity, and ability to work independently.
