Key Responsibilities:

• AWS Infrastructure Management:Deploy, configure, and manage Windows-based systems in the AWS cloud
• Implement and optimize AWS services to meet organizational requirements
• Windows Server Administration:Administer and maintain Windows Server operating systems within the AWS environment
• Manage Active Directory, user accounts, and security policies
• Security and Compliance:Implement security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data in AWS
• Monitor and address security vulnerabilities, applying patches and updates
• AWS Resource Optimization:Optimize AWS resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance
• Implement auto-scaling and load balancing configurations
• Backup and Recovery:Design and implement backup and recovery strategies for Windows systems in AWS
• Conduct regular backups, perform recovery tests, and ensure data integrity
• Scripting and Automation:Develop and implement scripts for automation in the AWS environment (PowerShell, AWS CLI, etc)
• Streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency
• Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between Windows systems and other cloud services
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members
• Documentation:Maintain accurate documentation of AWS configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
• Contribute to the development and upkeep of the knowledge base
