Job Description
Job Title: SME Windows Administrator (8+ years)
Shift Coverage : 24/5 (6 weeks of Oncall + Weekend support on a rotational basis)
Provide expert-level support for complex issues within our Windows environment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Responsible of installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows-based servers within the organization to ensure optimal performance and security.
Provide hands-on technical support by managing tasks such as user account administration, system updates, data backups, network connectivity, and resolving technical issues within the Windows server environment.
Ensure server security by implementing and maintaining effective security measures, and promptly applying security patches, updates, and service packs.
Continuously monitor server performance metrics, including CPU usage, memory utilization, disk space, and network bandwidth, to identify potential issues and enhance system performance.
Maintain backup and recovery strategies for Windows servers, conducting regular backups to ensure data integrity and availability.
Create and maintain documentation related to processes, wikis, and knowledge-based articles.
Basics of PowerShell Experience in automating repetitive tasks.
