Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Windows Server & Desktop Administrator to manage and support Windows-based server and desktop environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Windows Server administration, IIS, patch management, security hardening, troubleshooting, and virtualization. The candidate should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide end-user support and ensure high system availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Windows Desktop environments.
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain the latest versions of Windows Server.
- Perform IIS installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Execute server hardening activities and implement security best practices.
- Support Vulnerability Assessment (VA) and Penetration Testing (PT) remediation activities.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
- Troubleshoot Windows Server issues, including Blue Screen (BSOD) crashes and dump analysis.
- Install, configure, and maintain business applications on Windows servers.
- Perform system administration tasks using PowerShell and Command Prompt (CMD).
- Manage and support virtualized environments.
- Diagnose and resolve Windows Server/Desktop-related incidents within defined SLAs.
- Provide technical support to end users for Windows Server and Desktop-related issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders for issue resolution and infrastructure improvements.
- Maintain system documentation and follow standard operating procedures.
