- Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to understand website requirements and objectives
- Design and develop responsive and user-friendly websites using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Implement website functionalities and features, including interactive elements, forms, and e-commerce functionality
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and search engine optimization (SEO) best practices
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility of websites
- Collaborate with back-end developers and integrate front-end components with server-side logic and databases
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of websites to ensure functionality and quality
- Monitor and maintain websites, performing updates, backups, and security enhancements as needed
- Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in web development
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal stakeholders regarding website development
- Collaborate with designers to ensure visual consistency and implementation of design concepts
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs
- Develop and maintain documentation related to website development processes and procedures
- Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement tracking codes, analytics, and other marketing-related elements on websites
