Job Description
TimD is hiring a talented Website Developer with a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript/jQuery, Core PHP, and WordPress Theme Development .
The ideal candidate should be able to take a Figma or PSD design and turn it into a fully functional, responsive WordPress website complete with custom theme options, CPTs, forms, and SEO-friendly structure .
You will handle end-to-end website development from coding clean, mobile-first frontends to integrating custom functionality within WordPress ensuring each project is fast, secure, and optimized for search engines.
Key Responsibilities
Convert UI designs (Figma / PSD / Adobe XD) into responsive Bootstrap-based layouts .
Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes (without relying on page builders).
Write clean and modular Core PHP code for dynamic functionality.
Implement JavaScript/jQuery interactivity, animations, and UI enhancements.
Build and manage Custom Post Types (CPT) , ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) , and Theme Options .
Create and integrate custom PHP forms for contact, enquiry, or registration purposes (with email handling).
Ensure full cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility .
Optimize websites for speed, Core Web Vitals, and SEO .
Collaborate with designers and backend developers to ensure consistent performance and visual quality.
Maintain version control (Git) and deploy sites to hosting panels (cPanel/Plesk).
Preferred Skills Tech Stack Must Have:
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 4/5 , and responsive design best practices.
Solid experience in Core PHP and WordPress custom theme development .
Hands-on understanding of Custom Post Types (CPT) , ACF , and Theme Option frameworks .
Ability to create and integrate custom PHP form submissions (with validation and mail).
Good working knowledge of JavaScript/jQuery and DOM manipulation.
Familiarity with WordPress hooks, filters, functions.php , and template hierarchy.
Strong focus on SEO-friendly code , schema integration, and metadata optimization.
Understanding of mobile-first design and responsive layouts across all devices.
Experience with Git, cPanel/Plesk hosting, and MySQL basics.
Good to Have:
Working experience with React.js or Vue.js for advanced UI interactions.
Knowledge of advanced jQuery libraries (AJAX, sliders, modals, scroll effects).
Familiarity with WooCommerce setup and customization.
Basic understanding of REST API integration and AJAX in WordPress .
Awareness of Core Web Vitals , PageSpeed Insights , and performance debugging.
Experience in cross-browser testing and responsive debugging tools.
