Web Developer

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior /Mid/Sr Web Developer with a foundational understanding of WordPress development to support the design, development, and maintenance of websites.

The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of front-end and back-end web technologies, WordPress themes and plugins, website maintenance, and API integrations.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with experienced developers while building technical expertise in website development and optimization.

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing websites using WordPress.
• Support the implementation of new website features and functionalities.
• Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins under the guidance of senior team members.
• Assist in developing responsive and user-friendly website front-end interfaces.
• Support website back-end management, including database and server integrations.
• Creating the website architecture.
• Troubleshoot website content and functionality issues.
• Monitor website performance and assist in optimization activities.
• Assist with API integrations and third-party application connectivity.
• Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in website testing, debugging, and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with designers, content developers, and project teams.

Mandatory Tasks:

• Daily Work Progress Report needs to be sent to TL/PM.
• Daily updating work report on Office Gaps with candidate details/daily activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 -7years of experience in web development or relevant internships/projects.
• Basic knowledge of WordPress development.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Familiarity with website databases and hosting environments.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to WordPress theme and plugin customization.
• Basic understanding of SEO and website performance optimization.
• Familiarity with API integrations.
• Interest and Exposure in AI tools such as OpenAI and Claude for content and creative development.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems
