Job Description
- Responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to a clients specifications.
- Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
- Writing code in programming or scripting languages, such as PHP or JavaScript.
- Designing the architecture of the components of a website or application and testing websites and applications in different browsers and environments.
- Problem solving, fixing bugs in existing projects.
- Testing new features and technology thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct task in all cases..
- Researching, incorporating and contributing to Open Source projects.
- Gathering requirements from clients and users.
- Staying up to date with new trends and advancements in web development and designing.
- Requirements
- Education: Certified in PHP, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Web Programming Skills, E-Commerce, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Multimedia Content Development, APIs or equivalent.
- Skills: attention to detail, logical approach to problem solving, ability to work independently and in mixed teams, experience of development methodologies, ability to manage a complex range of tasks and meet deadlines, good communication skills.
- Knowledge: Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards, Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and APIs, Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
- Experience: Preferably 1-3 years relevant web development & designing experience. PHP development skills would be an advantage.
