Good to have skills : IBM CICS, IBM Db2, Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM)

Summary:
As a Web Developer, a typical day involves designing, constructing, and thoroughly testing web-based applications that support various components of a website. The role includes editing and updating site content to ensure relevance and accuracy. Additionally, documenting technical designs and specifications is a key part of the daily routine. Continuous research to integrate the latest content and improvements into websites is also essential, contributing to an engaging and up-to-date user experience.


Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of web components.

Maintain and update documentation to reflect changes and enhancements in web applications.

Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on project tasks.

Continuously monitor web application performance and suggest improvements to enhance user experience.


Professional & Technical Skills:


Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe.

Good To Have Skills: Experience with IBM CICS (Customer Information Control System), IBM Db2, Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM).

Strong understanding of web application architecture and development lifecycle.

Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex application issues.

Ability to work with legacy systems and integrate them with modern web technologies.

Familiarity with database management and data retrieval techniques related to mainframe environments.

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe.

This position is based at our Hyderabad office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
