Web Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with 2-6 years of experience to build and maintain modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js, along with exposure to backend technologies like Node.js or PHP.

The role requires collaboration with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to create responsive, user-friendly, and performance-optimized web applications.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development

• Develop responsive, interactive, and visually appealing web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  
• Build reusable UI components using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
  
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across devices.
  
• Implement pixel-perfect UI designs based on design specifications.
  

Backend Development

• Develop server-side functionality using Node.js or PHP.
  
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for communication between frontend and backend systems.
  
• Implement secure authentication and data validation mechanisms.
  

Website Maintenance & Enhancement

• Maintain and update existing websites and web applications.
  
• Fix bugs, improve performance, and implement new features.
  
• Ensure websites remain secure, stable, and scalable.
  

Database Development

• Design, manage, and optimize databases using MySQL or MongoDB.
  
• Write efficient queries to handle data storage, retrieval, and updates.
  
• Ensure proper data integrity and performance optimization.
  

Performance Optimization & SEO

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  
• Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and ranking.
  
• Optimize page loading time using techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, and caching.
  

Version Control & Build Tools

• Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
  
• Manage project dependencies and build processes using tools such as Webpack.
  
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintain coding standards.
  

Collaboration & Agile Development

• Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers.
  
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and user-friendly features.
  

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure application reliability.
  
• Identify and fix performance issues and security vulnerabilities.
  
• Ensure consistent functionality across different browsers and devices.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• 2–6 years of professional experience in web development.
  
• Strong understanding of web development principles, architecture, and best practices.
  
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based development environments.
