Web Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain websites and web applications.
• Build responsive, mobile-friendly, and user-centric web interfaces.
• Develop front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
• Develop and maintain back-end functionality, APIs, and databases.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Integrate third-party APIs and web services.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to implement new features.
• Maintain website security and perform regular updates.
• Follow coding standards, version control practices (Git), and documentation procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Web Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Python, or ASP.NET.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of Git/version control systems.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Understanding of web security principles and best practices.
• Experience with UI/UX implementation and accessibility standards.

• 13 years (Junior) or 3–5+ years (Mid/Senior), based on organizational requirements.
