Warehouse Pick and Pack Associate

Role & responsibilities

• Pick items from inventory based on order tickets, pick lists, or handheld scanners
• Verify item codes, quantities, and product condition before packing
• Pack orders securely to prevent damage during shipping
• Label boxes and prepare shipments according to carrier and company requirements
• Replenish stock and assist with inventory organization
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure order accuracy
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or shipping issues to supervisors
• Support receiving, unloading, and put-away activities as needed
• Follow company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards

Preferred candidate profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse, picking, packing, shipping, or fulfillment experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and order documentation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets
• Basic math and counting skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to use warehouse tools and equipment safely, including pallet jacks or handheld scanners if required

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with regular movement, noise, and varying temperatures
• May require overtime, weekend work, or flexible shifts during peak periods

Preferred Skills

• Experience with warehouse management systems or RF scanners
• Familiarity with shipping procedures and packaging standards
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
