Role & responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials (films, inks, adhesives, cores, cartons), consumables, and spare parts.
• Implement proper stock control methods (FIFO).
• Monitor stock levels and generate reorder alerts to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile with system records.
• Ensure traceability of all materials with proper labelling and coding.
• Supervise the loading/unloading of materials and finished goods.
• Ensure safe stacking, palletising, and segregation of materials (flammables, chemicals, and general stock).
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and compliance with HSE requirements in the store.
• Control access to stores and enforce the security of materials.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP/store management software.
• Check supplier delivery notes and match against purchase orders and QC approval.
• Prepare stock reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for management review.
• Maintain records for rejected/damaged materials and coordinate with procurement for replacement.
• Lead, train, and supervise storekeepers, helpers, and warehouse staff.
• Assign duties and monitor performance.
• Enforce safe work practices among store personnel.
• Liaise with Production to ensure the timely issuance of materials in accordance with the production plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree/diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years experience in stores/warehouse management (preferably in manufacturing/packaging).
• Knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems.
• Proficiency with MS Excel
• Strong leadership, organisation, and planning skills.
• Understanding of HSE requirements for chemical and material storage.
• Accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
