Job Description

Role & responsibilities


Warehouse Operations

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
  • Ensure timely processing of B2B, B2C, and marketplace orders as per defined SLAs.
  • Monitor warehouse capacity, space utilization, and operational efficiency.

Inventory Management

  • Ensure accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and physical stock audits.
  • Minimize inventory discrepancies and maintain stock integrity.
  • Drive FIFO/FEFO practices and proper storage of all inventory.

Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff to achieve productivity and quality targets.
  • Plan manpower allocation based on daily operational requirements.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs.

Process Excellence

  • Implement and monitor warehouse SOPs, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Ensure warehouse housekeeping through 5S implementation and safety compliance.

Performance Management

  • Monitor warehouse KPIs including Inventory Accuracy, Order Fulfillment, Dispatch TAT, Productivity, Order Accuracy, and Cost per Order.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions.

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with Procurement, Planning, Customer Service, Sales, and Logistics teams for seamless operations.
  • Work with transport partners to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
  • Support new warehouse projects, automation initiatives, and operational expansion.


Preferred candidate profile



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 810 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in FMCG, Consumer Electronics, Retail, or E-commerce.
  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven experience in managing large warehouse operations, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, people management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in driving operational excellence, productivity improvement, and process optimization.
