Warehouse Manager

Job Overview

Cityfurnish is looking for a Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory management, refurbishment coordination, and manpower planning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth warehouse functioning, maintaining accurate inventory records in Odoo, managing blue-collar workforce, and ensuring operational efficiency.

The role requires strong experience in warehouse operations, logistics coordination, inventory control, and team management in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

* Ensure smooth warehouse functioning including QC closure, refurbishment updates, and R2R readiness.

* Manage day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure achievement of daily operational targets.

* Oversee proper racking, stacking, and inventory health management within the warehouse.

* Ensure FIFO practices, warehouse space utilization, and 5S standards are followed.

Inventory & System Management

* Maintain accurate real-time data updates in Odoo, including condition changes, scrap transfers, refurbishment tracking, and PO-IN updates.

* Conduct monthly inventory condition audits and maintain proper stock records.

* Monitor inventory movement, stock levels, and refurbishment requirements.

Manpower & Team Management

* Manage manpower planning, attendance, and task allocation for warehouse staff, technicians, and carpenters.

* Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth workflow between warehouse, delivery, and refurbishment units.

* Conduct weekly team performance reviews and ensure task completion within defined timelines.

Performance & Process Monitoring

* Track operational performance through ticket reviews, TAT monitoring, and quality checks.

* Ensure timely ticket closure and issue resolution as per operational timelines.

* Maintain operational metrics and prepare reports such as refurbishment reports, stock reports, and dead stock reports.

Compliance & Audit Readiness

* Maintain documentation and ensure warehouse audit readiness at all times.

* Ensure compliance with operational SOPs and inventory management processes.

Cost & Vendor Management

* Monitor warehouse operational expenses and drive cost efficiency.

* Coordinate with vendors and logistics partners for smooth warehouse operations when required.

Escalation & Issue Resolution

* Address operational issues and support resolution of internal and customer escalations related to warehouse operations.

Requirements

* 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.

* Strong experience in inventory management and warehouse operations.

* Ability to manage blue-collar workforce and warehouse teams.

* Excellent problem-solving and coordination skills.

* Experience working in fast-paced operational environments.

* Strong knowledge of MS Excel / MS Office.

* Experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred) will be an advantage.
