Warehouse Incharge

Job Overview:

• Responsible for plant warehouse operations Ex Ambernath.
• This includes managing primary and Secondary dispatches.
• Coordinate with planning team for stock allocations details.
• Coordinate with logistics team and transporter for vehicle placement.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow and practice safety guidelines while working on machines and executing any other job responsibilities within the plant. Ensure the IATF 16949:2016 OHSAS & IMS practices are maintained on working area
• Responsible for optimum stock levels, taking into consideration usage & supply trends
• Responsible to ensure maximum inventory turnover
• Recommends & improve systems & procedures to increase efficiency & service level
• Responsible for safety, security & upkeep of warehouse
• Responsible for maintaining good rapport & liaison with government
• To maintain the inventory of depot based on norms been set for individual Warehouses
• To ensure that all Dead stocks / slow moving (6 months from the dt of mfg.) are been removed from the Depot
• Basic HSSE guidelines for Depots, Formulate PPE rule and basic training & implementation at depot
• Responsible for proper coordination with plant
• Responsible for timely & accurate generation of MIS & reporting to HO
• Responsible for arranging stock from plant as per sales plan

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

• Knowledge of contemporary inventory management techniques
• Knowledge of storing procedure, warehouse & logistics operation
• Basic knowledge of Computer
• Knowledge of legal requirements like Sales Tax, Excise, etc
• Must be a team player
• Being flexible
• Analytical skills.
