Warden

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for allotment of rooms to the students and maintenance of records.

• Regularly available in the hostel office to address the concerns of the students.

• To establish coordination with Wardens/Assistant Wardens of various hostels for smooth running of day-to-day routine work of hostel.

• To check the various registers and ledgers maintained by the Wardens/Assistant Wardens from time to time.

• Reporting the cases of serious indiscipline/ragging to the Board for further action at the University level.

• Responsible for addressing medical/social and personal emergencies of all students.

• To facilitate their holistic development physical, mental, and intellectual.

• To ensure the completion of maintenance activities in time by interacting with the maintenance division. If required escalating the matter with Board of University based on the requirement.

Skills Required:

• Preference would be given to candidates from defence background.

• Experience in handling emotional, psychological issues of students.

• Good administrative & operational skills.

• Ability to operate a computer and working knowledge of MS Office.

• Good communication skills.
