About the Role
Radiowalla Network Limited is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor with 23 years of experience to produce high-quality visual content across digital, social media, corporate communication, and marketing platforms. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, creative storytelling skills, and the ability to transform concepts into compelling visual narratives.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Production
- Edit raw video footage into engaging and professional-quality videos.
- Create promotional videos, corporate films, social media reels, short-form videos, podcasts, interviews, and event highlights.
- Assemble footage, graphics, sound, and visual effects to create impactful storytelling.
- Perform video trimming, sequencing, color grading, and audio synchronization.
- Enhance video quality through stabilization, noise reduction, and visual corrections.
- Ensure consistency in branding, style, and messaging across all video content.
- Create multiple versions of videos optimized for different platforms and formats.
Motion Graphics & Animation
- Design and incorporate motion graphics, title animations, lower-thirds, transitions, and visual effects.
- Develop animated explainers, promotional creatives, and engaging social media content.
- Create dynamic intros, outros, and logo animations.
Content Development
- Collaborate with marketing, content, design, and business teams to understand project requirements.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns.
- Assist in developing storyboards, shot lists, and video concepts.
- Suggest innovative editing techniques to improve audience engagement.
Audio & Post-Production
- Edit and enhance audio quality by removing background noise and balancing sound levels.
- Add music, voiceovers, sound effects, and subtitles where required.
- Ensure final videos meet broadcast and digital publishing standards.
Digital & Social Media Content
- Create platform-specific content for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other digital channels.
- Edit short-form content such as reels, shorts, teasers, and promotional snippets.
- Optimize videos for maximum engagement and audience retention.
Project Management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Maintain organized archives of video assets, footage, graphics, and project files.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors when required.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Technical Responsibilities
- Export videos in various formats suitable for web, mobile, and broadcast platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing software, industry trends, and AI-based editing tools.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to video production and post-production workflows.
- Maintain backup and version control of all editing projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Multimedia, Film Editing, Mass Communication, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of professional experience in video editing and post-production.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Audition.
- Good understanding of cinematography, composition, pacing, and storytelling.
- Experience with motion graphics, animation, and visual effects.
- Knowledge of color correction, color grading, and audio mixing.
- Familiarity with video codecs, compression techniques, and export settings.
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
