Vehicle Cybersecurity

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct TARA across ECU's, components and for whole vehicle.
• Develop detailed security profile for vehicle components
• Develop detailed assessment framework for vehcile security
• Develop mitigation strategies for identified risks and collaborate with engineering teams for implementation.
• Assist in the development of the Cybersecurity Management System based on ISO/SAE 21434. Develop and enforce implementation standards, procedures, and best practices
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation that aligns with ISO 21434 and UN R155 standards
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, IT, and others to integrate cybersecurity measures.
• Work closely with product management to translate security requirements into actionable product features.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related fields
• 5-10 years of experience in vehicle cybersecurity or a related area
• Experience with TARA methodologies (HEAVENS, OCTAVE, STRIDE)
• Familiarity with ISO/SAE 21434, UN R155, and cybersecurity standards applicable to automotive industries.
• Strong understanding of automotive architectures (AUTOSAR, Ethernet, CAN)
• Proficient in cybersecurity risk management, threat analysis, and vulnerability assessment
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement and report presentation
