Job Description
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Veeam Backup Replication.
- Good knowledge of Veeam Backup Replication 12.x and modern Veeam architecture.
- Experience with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or KVM/OLVM environments.
- Strong knowledge of SAN, NAS, NFS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, and backup repositories.
- Experience with enterprise storage platforms such as IBM, HPE, Dell EMC, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Veeam Backup Copy, Replication, SOBR, CDP, SureBackup, Instant Recovery, and recovery operations.
- Experience with immutable repositories, hardened Linux repositories, object storage, and ransomware protection.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewall requirements, and network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, databases, and application-consistent backups.
- Experience with tape backup and LTO libraries is desirable.
- Knowledge of PowerShell or scripting for backup automation and reporting is an advantage.
