About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Serverless Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python and AWS to build scalable, event-driven, and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in AWS serverless technologies and a strong foundation in designing secure and high-performance APIs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable serverless applications using Python (3.9+)

- Build and manage event-driven architectures using AWS services

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using API Gateway and backend services

- Work with AWS Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, and DynamoDB

- Implement secure and optimized API solutions (OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting, caching)

- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams for timely delivery

- Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices for high-quality code

- Contribute to system architecture ensuring scalability, performance, and security

- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers

- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using CloudWatch and X-Ray

Core Technical Skills :

- Expert-level proficiency in Python (3.9+)

- Strong experience with AWS Serverless Technologies, including:

- AWS Lambda (VPC, Layers, Provisioned Concurrency)

- Amazon API Gateway (REST & HTTP APIs, custom domains, JWT authorizers)

- Amazon EventBridge

- AWS Step Functions

- Amazon SQS & SNS

- Amazon S3

- AWS DynamoDB

- AWS SAM (Serverless Application Model)

- AWS Secrets Manager & Parameter Store

- AWS X-Ray and CloudWatch (logs & tracing)

Additional / Secondary Skills :

- Experience with Java / Spring Framework (good to have)

- Strong understanding of design patterns and software architecture

- Familiarity with TDD and mocking frameworks (EasyMock, JMock)

- Experience working in Agile environments (JIRA)

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Education :

Any Graduate (B.E./B.Tech preferred but not mandatory)
